The Quality Assurance Unit of the University of Nigeria was established
in the year 2015 by the immediate past administration of Prof. Benjamin C.
Ozumba. The former Vice Chancellor saw the need to key into the National
Universities Commission’s (NUC) directive for the establishment of Quality
Assurance Unit.

As was enunciated by the establishment mandate, our responsibility is
to safeguard the general interest of all stakeholders towards sound standards
and maintenance of high quality education practices in the university.

On that note, we welcome you once again, to the Quality Assurance
platform of this great institution, where we strive at all times to “Restore the
Dignity of All”.
