OBJECTIVE OF THE POLICY
The objective of the policy is to:
(a) Maximize economy and efficiency
(b) Obtain value for money
(c) Promote integrity and engender public confidence in the procurement process
(d) Foster transparency
(e) Encourage wider participation in the procurement process
(f) Promote competition among suppliers and contractors for the supply of goods, works and
services
(g) Provide for the fair and equitable treatment of all persons participating in procurement
proceedings.
